Recipe for Coconut Flour Brownies – Gluten Free

Gluten free Coconut flour brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or shredded coconut

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the coconut flour, cocoa powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine extra virgin coconut oil and coconut sugar. Stir until the coconut sugar is dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, to the virgin coconut oil mixture, stirring well after each addition. Then, stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a thick and smooth batter is formed.
  6. If desired, fold in any optional ingredients such as chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or shredded coconut.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  8. Bake the brownies in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Be careful not to overbake.
  9. Remove the baking dish from the oven and let the brownies cool in the dish for about 10 minutes. Then, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Once cooled, cut into squares and enjoy your homemade Coconut Flour Brownies. They can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for a few days.
